The Reason For The Season

 “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:14

The unconverted cannot understand why Christians do not join them in their wild Christmas celebrations (1 Peter 4:3-4); those who celebrate the event without being able to give a sensible reason for doing so, are providing us with wonderful opportunities to give a reason for the hope that is within us. "But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepare to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect" (1 Peter 3:15).
